Winter Custom Yachts

I am writing about the 24’ Winter Custom Yacht Center Console that I purchased from you early in 2010.  Since taking ownership of the boat, my wife Jenny and I have logged over 100 hours on the boat; hours spent fishing and pleasure cruising.  These 100 hours are some of the best times my wife and I have spent together; hours away from the hussle and bussle of life simply enjoying our time together.  It has been a great pleasure thus far.

In regards to the boat itself, it has held up amazingly well and still looks brand new.  The interior and exterior paint job, of which are without flaw in my opinion, still have the same luster and sheen to them now as the day they were painted.  The fit-and-finish of the lids and hatches, as well as the pop-up box on the console, still fit together perfectly.  As you are aware there has been no need for warranty call-backs as the boat was constructed properly and without cutting corners.

When I first decided to purchase a boat for my family I was the typical “boat consumer.”  I went to boat shows with hundreds of manufactured boats for sale.  At the time I considered a lot of those boats to be very nice and constructed well; how little I knew at that time.  During my research, however, you and I began discussing the construction of a custom boat.  You sold me on the idea that my boat would be exactly what I wanted, and with your input and ideas it turned out better than I could have ever dreamed.  You have a gift, a vision, to be able to see the finer lines of the boat before that stations are set and the keel laid.  You took my ideas and crafted an amazing boat that my kids and grandkids will one day own.  There is no doubt in my mind that if I care for this boat the way that it should be, it will last many decades.

I would like to touch back on our relationship.  During the construction of my boat, you answered all of my questions, provided advice and direction when needed, and were response both on the phone and via email.  You and I were friends before we started building my boat, a friendship that grew and matured during the construction process.  If you notice, I stated “we started building;” you included me in the construction process more than I could have imagined.  As you have stated many times during construction, if the owner/client is not included in the process then it really isn’t a boat custom tailored to their vision and desires. 

Jenny and I could not be more pleased with our boat, the construction process, or how well the boat is performing.  This is the very reason I came back to you when I was ready to purchase my fishing gear and tackle; your take care of your clients.  We dreamed of owning a nice boat, you made those dreams a reality.  Thank you and your employees for all of your time and hard work.  We look forward to spending many more years as friends with you and your family.”
