The Carolina Custom, Perfected
Winter’s Hull W-9, dubbed Anita Jean, is the largest convertible boat to come out of the Winter workshop. At 64′, she is built to handle every adventure in salt water. Sporting the soft lines and methodical, Carolina-style curves that have become a Winter signature, she is a creation of beauty and performance. Designed to explore and fish the most exotic destinations in the world while providing all aboard with immense comfort, she has truly created a name for herself. Although the shape of the craft was built to stand out amongst the world’s best, every square foot serves a distinct purpose. The owner’s request for a magnificent, one-of-a-kind vessel continues to be satisfied every time Hull W-9 leaves port.
Crafted for Marlin Fights
With the propulsion power of two Caterpillar C32’s, Hull W-9 can reach speeds far beyond other crafts of the same size. Additionally, the 2,870 gallon fuel tank offers a substantial range of travel. The bridge features a large center console and twin Release Marine helm chairs with an unimpeded 360-degree view. The latest Furuno NavNet Glass Bridge equipment is installed, and a backup Northstar GPS, autopilot system, and Flir imaging package are also included. The cockpit is designed for marlin fishing, with an unlimited Release Marine fighting chair on an offset pedestal.
Redefining Luxury and Comfort
Her interior features a master suite that includes a double bed, two closets and drawers, a flat-screen T, head, and oversized shower. A hatch over the bed opens to storage which can be used for dry goods or other necessities on trips. The interior includes cherry floors, cabinets, and moldings. Beyond the master suite is a guest head/shower and double bunk with additional storage. Hull W-9’s stateroom masterfully maximizes space and includes a rod locker, drawers, cabinets, and closets. Wrap-around maple burl countertops, surrounded by stools, complete the salon with taste. An L-shaped settee faces a triangular table that can be raised and adjusted for size. Winter installed premium appliances aboard her, including a commercial-grade oven, four-burner stove, built-in microwave, electric grill, and refrigerator/freezer drawers. Hull W-9 is far more than a project, she exceeds the standards of typical sport fishing yachts and redefines the space as her own.
